+ ABOUT STUDIO PORTMANTEAU: Based in Oregon's Rogue Valley, Studio Portmanteau is driven by the owner's passion for the simple things in life like stargazing, beachcombing, gardening, cooking, and the great outdoors. This, in conjunction with a a love of all things golden and a fascination with tiny things led to her creation of the brand. She regards the matchbook as a tiny little piece of a bygone era that still resonates with us today and reminds us to sit down, light a candle, and spend the evening catching up with friends or devouring a good book. She loves bringing materials to life with her unique perspective as a trained designer, intrepid explorer, and avid maker, focusing her art on subjects of botany, astronomy, and cartography.

Each product sold in the shop is a one-of-a-kind creation designed and made by her team in the Pacific Northwest. Most items are hand-pressed with metal dies on a vintage foil stamper that is the mainstay of the studio. Studio Portmanteau has been featured on Architectural Digest, Design*Sponge, MyDomaine, Etsy Blog, The Faire Blog, BRIDES, and Rock My Wedding, among other publications.
